Our Process

From start to finish, our team guides you through every step of the way.

1. Initial Consult

  • In – Home meeting to discuss scope of the project
  • Take Initial Measurements
  • Collect completed emailed survey
  • Take additional notes to asses wants and needs

2. Preliminary Budget Meeting

  • Present proposed design at our Showroom location
  • Discuss aspects of the project
  • Present Preliminary Budget Proposal and proposed initial design

3) Design Agreement

After scope of the project is agreed upon, a design retainer fee is applied and we move on to the next stage of design development.

  • Discuss changes in design and scope of work
  • Discuss changes in products
  • Begin a 4-8 week design development period, meeting approximately once per week to 10 days

4) Full On-Site Survey & Design Meeting

  • Conduct a full onsite survey to obtain all necessary final measurements
  • Fully examine existing conditions in regard to structure and mechanical
  • Discuss any concerns onsite and aspects of changes proposed by new design

5. Contract Meeting

Finalize a Detailed Contract based on final design changes, product selections and plans

  • Finalize design plans and scope of work
  • Completed Job Packet
  • Full Job Deposit is applied

6. Production Meeting

  • Meet with LBK team members working on your project
  • Discuss coordination of different trade aspects involved with your project
  • Make product and finishes selections with the assistance and guidance of LBK Designer(s)

7. Pre-Construction Meeting

  • Review construction and mechanical plans
  • Review LBK full job punch list, detail summary and production sheets with project management
  • Apply for job permits
  • Authorization to proceed

8) Construction

  • Meet LBK Skilled Labor Force
  • Setup Dust Protection and Air Filtration
  • Lead Carpenter onsite each day conducting work and managing any sub contractors onsite
  • Email weekly progress updates
  • Job is broom swept at the end of each work day
  • Milestone payments made throughout the project in conjunction with provided payment schedule

9. Completion

  • Job site Walk Through
  • Submit job punch list if needed
  • Substantially complete payment due

10. Warranty

  • Final walk through is completed
  • Completed job folder is provided with payment records and all warranty information.
  • Follow up calls are made at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months after work is completed
